About Program
Vanavil is more than just a school — it is a joyful and nurturing space where children are encouraged to grow with confidence and curiosity. We believe that the foundations of a meaningful education are rooted in safety, freedom, trust, and friendship. These values guide everything we do.
Currently, we serve approximately 139 children, from Pre-KG through 5th standard, providing them with a strong and supportive learning environment. Our unique approach blends Montessori methods, activity-based instruction, and experiential learning projects, ensuring that education is both engaging and deeply enriching.
The children we work with come from Nomadic Communities, often affected by extreme poverty and social stigma. At Vanavil, we have carefully created a learning experience where arts, music, and performance are as deeply integrated into daily lessons as Math and Science, enabling children to learn holistically.
A typical school day might include a visit to a nearby goat farm, shaping clay models of animal footprints, or measuring classroom furniture as part of a practical Math activity. These real-life applications make learning both fun and memorable. One of our proudest traditions is the Annual School Play, which is not only a highlight for the children but has also gained recognition, touring to multiple locations and spreading joy through creative expression.
